“Cheshire Drums Lessons” began in 2005. Since then we have enjoyed helping many of our students go on to achieve their ambitions. We teach people from all over the world as our lessons are available online via Skype and we also serve our local community from our drum studio based in Middlewich, Cheshire.

Our lead drum teacher Gareth Hughes is an in demand drummer and percussionist. His work takes him all over the world performing with a great variety of bands and artists. Gareth performs regularly at many top international festivals and prestigious events. He also provides drums for cruise ships, recording sessions, film, animation, T.V. and B.B.C Radio 1, 2, 3, 5 live and 6 music. As well as teaching at “Cheshire Drum Lessons”, Gareth is also a music lecturer at Salford University and Manchester Metropolitan University. 

Gareth holds a first class honours degree in music. He is also a member of the Musicians Union, has public liability insurance and a current C. R. B check.
